My skin had been doing a valiant job through a harsh, dry winter— I looked only 7, maybe 12 years older than my birth certificate states— when, like a marathoner who runs an impressive race, only to collapse mere yards from the finish line, my skin just gave out. Itchy, sallow, flaky, uncomfortable, inconsolable— these are not happy adjectives, much less realities but mercifully, my knight in shining jar-like armor has arrived.
Bobby Brown Extra Balm Rinse is an incredibly rich, soothing schmear that has reinvigorated my winter-ravaged visage. Massaged onto dry skin (and believe me, mine was), this cleanser soothes the skin and leaves it soft, becalmed, scrumptiously moisturized but not greasy. The edible scent of orange and olive oils had me flirting with the idea of a taste test but that’s the kind of off-label use best left to folks with good health insurance and while I haven’t tried the rest of the line, if it’s half as luxurious as this little number, I’m a convert. Dry skin salvation!
Amen to that.
