Is Botox as safe as we've been led to believe? Perhaps not.
A new study has been presented which, contrary to previous claims, states that these neurotoxins may actually be able to spread to the brain.
Though this study is far from the final word on the topic (and I personally know many people who've never had an adverse reaction to the use of injectable fillers...),
I think I'll be sticking to topical wrinkle reducers.
Does this study change your opinion of Botox?
Heck no! I just got shot up again yesterday as a matter of fact. It works better than any topical ever could--like you've finally had that week's worth of sleep you've been meaning to catch up on for the past 5 years.
Just make sure you go to a doctor who knows what he/she is doing, even if it's cheaper at the local spa. who is doing the injection is as important as what you're injecting. You do not want to cut corners with Botox!
