I'm all about a beautiful blood orange lip and/or cheek for Spring. I find it really refreshing, especially when done in a glossy, bright finish.
Get this look: Matte
Lightly line the lips in an orange-based red lip liner (like M.A.C Redd ) then smudge in towards the mouth and fill with a bright, bold shade such as Heat Wave by NARS.
Get this look: Glossy
I adore Pout Plump in Pimento (if you can still find it) and NARS Lip Gloss in Babe for an effortless fix.
Get this look: Customized
If you want the full effect, try a layered look. I like to use M.A.C Lipmix in Orange (without liner), then coat the bright orange base with a sheer red gloss, such as Tulip Venom Gloss by DuWop or Dior Addict Ultra Gloss Reflect in Red Stockings.
Get the look: Rouge
A blood orange flush is gorgeous, but I'd keep the lips light if you're opting to highlight your cheeks. For this look, try mixing two parts Lancome Magique Blush in Peach Melba and one part Color Fever Lipstick in Red and Sensual Java (a tip taken from the great Gucci Westman), then apply lightly to the apples of your cheeks.
To dress your kisser, lightly dab the same poppy-red lipstick in the center of your lips, then apply a sheer orange/coral lip color on top (I love Glosspitality Lipgelee by M.A.C, Sari by Fresh, and Lancome Juicy Tubes Jelly in Sweet Punch).
It's such a fresh, vibrant look for the coming season. Now, all we need is a little sunshine and we're set...

I've seen Argan Oil listed as an ingredient in many luxury skincare products, but had never thought of using it on its own. It's fantastic!
This lightweight oil absorbs quickly and leaves my skin feeling baby soft. I've also been using it on the ends of my hair (before bed), to soothe my soles, and reduce blemish marks. I'll probably be bathing in it by next week, too.
100% organic.

I absolutely adore the music of Amy Winehouse and think she's an extremely talented girl; I'm rooting for her to continue to (heal and) succeed. That said, I'd rather not take my beauty advice from a woman who is constantly photographed looking a little "less than fresh".
Amy's set to launch a beauty and fashion line, which could include signature items like eyeliner, hairspray, scarves, and those ballet flats she loves so much (stains not included).
Never say never, but chances are I'll be avoiding the line full stop. How 'bout you?

If you don't already know of this cult-favorite, you've been missing out.
Imagine the most comfortable cashmere sweater, the softest leather jacket (in the most flattering form), and the most versatile accessories. Now picture all of these beautifully-designed staples at reasonable prices, and you'll begin to understand why so many of us aren't able to visit Paris without popping into the Zadig & Volaire boutique (at least once).
Lucky for us, there's no longer a need to fly all the way to France for a fix. Zadig & Voltaire has recently landed on our side of the pond and opened their first North American shop in Sunset Plaza. Hopefully, New York is next...
Happy shopping!

I'm head-over-heels for this new candle by Fresh. It's divine.
My husband and I light it up whenever we're home, but you'd never know by looking at the candle (surprisingly enough). It burns at a snail's pace, and without any smoke.
Scented with notes of vetiver, vanilla, and sandalwood, Cannabis Santal is the perfect (unisex) scent to warm your home during the Winter months.

I've been a fan of the DuWop Venom collection for as long as I can remember, so when I heard that they'd come up with an amped-up version of the original- I just had to try it. And I'm so glad I did, It's fantastic.
2nd Sin instantly plumps-up my lips (without irritation), and the new menthol flavor is actually quite nice. But that's not all. After brushing it on, you can go hours without reapplying (I've been able to go for about 6), and it also helps increase the size of your lips with repeated use. It doesn't get much better than that...

Justin Timberlake has had a successful musical career, dabbled in films, become an entrepreneur... And is now adding 'model' to his lengthy list of professions.
Givenchy has just named the former frontman as the new spokesperson for a yet-to-be-named fragrance, launching Fall '08. "Beyond his immense international notoriety, we chose Justin Timberlake because he's a true trendsetter who has redefined modern elegance", states Alain Lorenzo, President and CEO of Parfums Givenchy.
Will you buy eau de Timberlake for the men in your life?

I'm loving the hair from J.Mendel's F/W '08 show, it's youthful yet refined. You could easily wear this chic chignon to the office, to a wedding, or on a date; It's just that versatile. And the best part? It's so much easier to do than it may seem...
Get the Look:
To start, blow-dry your hair then spray it with Warren-Tricomi Flexible Hairspray and brush through.
Next, double-part your hair and pull the center section into a small ponytail, wrapping a thin strand around the hair elastic to conceal it.
Finally, take all of your hair and put it in a low ponytail. Then braid the tail, wrap it into an oval-shaped chignon, and secure it with several hairpins.
Finish with Warren-Tricomi Flexible Hairspray, and that's it- you're ready for the runway (...or a night out with the girls).
