Mr. Williamson's F/W '08 collection is a refreshing, playful assortment of clothing that could be worn right off the runway.
To compliment the collection's street-chic nature, good friend (and uber accomplished artist) Charlotte Tilbury went for a natural, yet polished, beauty look. A super-subtle smoky eye was created using Architecture Shadow Paint (from M.A.C) and Bronze Cream Color Base around the eye, and then finished with brown mascara. She also filled-in the brows lightly with a neutral brow pencil, and gave the cheeks a touch of color with Cherche BlushCreme. Finally, the lips were dressed with a flattering, soft pink-nude lipstick. It's a timeless, Parisian-inspired look that's guaranteed to be gorgeous in any season.
After makeup, each of the girls paid a visit to (the wonderfully charming) Malcolm Edwards to be transformed into a 'posh toddy with a top knot', using L'Oreal Professional products. The look was youthful yet luxurious, a bit high-end bohemian if you will.
This show was the perfect end to fashion week for me (I'm off on holiday as of now); I absolutely adored the overall look and couldn't have asked for a more receptive or gracious team of artists to interview.
