I've always had terribly temperamental (combination) skin that craves an intense amount of moisture during the A/W season, but then loves to break out from the use of rich creams and masques. It's been a frustrating, but regretfully accepted, fact of my existence. Until now.
My new daily routine has been to cleanse (I love Ole Henriksen's Aloe Vera Deep Cleanser), skip toner (a first!), apply a serum, and then finish with my facial and eye moisturizers. It all takes about 5 minutes and has been well worth every step. My skin feels amazing and there's not a spot to be seen.
My medicine cabinet cocktail:
La Prairie Cellular Moisturizer SPF 15 The Smart Cream (am/pm)
La Prairie Cellular Eye Moisturizer SPF 15 The Smart Cream (am/pm)
Darphin Instant Lumiere Brightening Serum (am)
Caudalie Energizing Concentrate (pm)
Fresh Sugar Face Polish Mask (weekly)
ReVive Intensite Fluide Superbe (for occasional relief of dry spots)
DDF Benzoyl Peroxide 5% w/Tea Tree Oil (blemish treatment)
