i just got a pair of boots like the brown ralph lauren ones in the picture but mine are a bit more riding bootish - they are super cute but they are wide(mostly on the outsides of my legs) at the top(not snug to my leg) is this supposed to happen with this type of style? you may not know what i'm talking about but if you do? sugestions?

A lot of people like wearing their boots a bit wider than their leg (especially this sort of flat, riding boot), but if yours are looking a bit wellie-ish you may want to get them taken in a little for a more refined look...
