I've been eating out way too much recently (and drinking quite a bit in the process), so I decided last week that it was time to do a proper cleanse. But, I really didn't want to create my own homemade concoctions this time around... So, who to call?
After a good deal of 'Googling', I chose to go with Blueprint Cleanse. They're an NYC based company that specializes in cleansing with a modern, playful (yet professional) approach. And, not the least bit granola, Blueprint is a refreshing change from the standard cleansing companies that promise the sun, the moon, and the stars in a bottle of their spiritually-charged juice.
I chose to do the Foundation Cleanse (there are three different levels you can choose from) for three days and it was wonderfully rejuvenating. I still feel great from the cleanse and it's actually inspired me to eat a bit healthier and drink a little less bubbly, which is something in itself as I generally have zero self-control.
Blueprint delivers (up to) a three-day supply of juice blends (six per day) the day before you start and also include a cute little 'cheat sheet' with what you can nibble on if you're absolutely desperate for solid food or a sip of coffee (amazing, no?). A highly recommend pick-me-up if you're looking to start the season off well.
Cost: $65/day for 1-6 days.

I don't know if they would, but you can also do this sort of thing at home. I've heard the Martha's Vineyard Detox is great (www.mvdietdetox.com), if you've got a juicer... :)

I'm on the third and last day of my Renovation level Blueprint Cleanse. The first day was the hardest, but I feel fantastic and totally energetic! I've had some experience with raw foods and juicing, but I was really indulging way too much in the nasties and having issues with acid reflux and indigestion, so I decided to do the cleanse. The juices actually taste good. The green juice is a little hard to take the second and third day, but your body wants it. I did start watching my diet before the cleanse like the website suggests so that it wasn't such a shock to the system. I had a little headache the first night and have been really hungry everyday between 2 and 4, but I get through it (especially with 1 snack from the cheat sheet) and I'm totally thinking differently about how I want to approach eating solid foods again. My brother and his roommate have both tried it and we will all be repeat customers. I highly recommend it, and this is coming from someone who lives above a pizza place complete with delicious smells wafting into her bedroom all day and all night. Happy Detoxing!

I couldn't agree more! I've done the Blueprint Cleanse a few times since this post and am totally addicted to the results (as are many of my friends!). It's really quite impressive.

Seems pretty reasonably priced. Do you have any case studies for results with this?
Thanks

I've never done a cleanse before. Seems like this one would be the one to try, though. Thanks!
